5 Ways to Elevate Your Business

FOR ENTREPRENEURS

how to elevate your online business

1) The Business Circle

  • Find and Nurture New Customers
Build an audience using your website and various marketing tools such as email marketing, social media, and word-of-mouth. Keep reading as you will find out more ways you can do this!

  • Educate Them like Crazy
People love to learn instead of reading never-ending sales pitches. So be sure to provide value and educate your clients. Content that shares a tip offers a suggestion or offers useful information to grow your audience and keep them coming back for more.

  • Help Them Use Their Products and Purchase More
Providing helpful information will allow your clients to expand their knowledge, allowing them to become experts in their field; boosting their credibility.

  • Your Business Will Grow
The end goal is always to find ways to help your business grow. By putting in place a robust business framework at the start, you will be on your way to growing your business for the long-term.

 2) Basic Branding

  • Choose a Business Name
When choosing a business name, make sure that the same company name is available on all social media channels - IG, FB, Linkedin, Twitter. Cohesiveness is key across all marketing tools.

  • Choose 3-4 Colours
Coming up with colour palettes can be tricky. Check out our friends 30 colour combinations here and find the perfect palette for your website, social media, logo, and all marketing assets.

  • Choose a Signature Font
Pick a font that gives a look and feel you’d like to convey. If you are looking for a light and airy appeal, choose San Script. If you prefer more impact and boldness, try Roboto. Whatever font you choose, make sure it is readable across all platforms.

  • Keep a Consistent Look with Photos
Keeping a unified look is essential. The design tool Canva recommends limiting your color palette. The simplest way to make your photos consistent is to keep the colors included in your images to a minimum.

3) Create a Central Hub

Your website is the best place to keep everything in one place; once you have a website, you have turned your business into a brand. Categorize all your resources, links, products, and educational articles in easy-to-access sections on your website. It is an effective way to create one central hub to direct customers when they have questions or seek more information on a particular product.

4) Build a Customer Relationship with Email

  • Choose an Email Provider
Start reaching your database regularly with email correspondence. I recommend Flodesk which I have been using for years in my business. As a special thank you for reading this blog post, I want to give you 50% off to take your email marketing to the next level - Click here to learn more  - Click here to learn more

  • Create Months of Value-Packed Emails
You work so hard at finding new customers, introducing them to essential oils, and getting them started on a new health journey. Now it’s time to educate your existing customers on using their stash of oils, so they will continue ordering more from you. Don’t have time to set up your email account? Let me set up your Flodesk account and load in 4 months of value-packed, educational emails Click here for more info.

  • Schedule your Emails to Send Out Once a Week
Send out content a minimum of four times per month, or pick a scheduling timeframe that works for you. Be consistent! In time your customers will be used to seeing your emails and look forward to reading them.

  • Provide Your Customers with Consistent Content
As mentioned above, always provide value and educate your clients. Doing so will solidify you as their expert and keep them coming back for repeat orders.

5) Social Media

Make your brand come to life by posting on social media. It is where most of your customers spend their time, so be sure to engage with them.

Ask for feedback and suggestions, and direct them to more detailed content on your website. Batch content and use a pre-scheduling tool to help to keep social media manageable for the long-term.

Remember to use the same content for your emails, social media and website so you are not always re-inventing the wheel!
