4 Steps to Hosting a Online Essential Oil Class

STEP: 1 DECIDE ON A PLATFORM

How will you present your online class? I suggest using Zoom, Facebook, or Instagram when hosting the essential oils class. These options are free and very user-friendly.

Zoom is our top choice as it provides a classroom-like setting where all guests can see each other and interact with the instructor. If you’re nervous about going to live or not having enough people in your audience, you can easily record yourself and then share the link with your customers.

STEP: 2 BE CONSISTENT

Host your essential oil classes on the same day and same time each week. That way, your customers will know that you host spotlight classes every Wednesday at 12pm.

You can also send out the recording via email afterward or have the recording live in your Facebook feed and post the link on your website to boost traffic.

STEP 3: PRE-SCHEDULE YOUR THEMES

Send your customers your online class schedule a month in advance. List each topic you will cover in the class. This step will help you with scheduling content around each theme for your social media. It will also prompt your customers to schedule it on their calendar if it is a topic that interests them.

Try these ideas for class themes:

Week 1 - Kids + Babies

Week 2 - Immune Support

Week 3 - A Green Home

Week 4 - Sleep Support

STEP 4: SEND OUT REMINDERS

Everyone is busy, all the more reason to use reminder apps diligently. To streamline the process, send out reminders the day before and up to an hour before your online class. Post a reminder on your social media pages, and schedule an email reminder to be sent out.

After the live class, send out the recording link for those who were not able to attend. Occasionally some customers may not be in attendance but are still very interested in what you have to say or sell.

Best of luck in education your customers!
