FOR ENTREPRENEURS

It happens to all of us.

There’s a natural ebb and flow to business. There are busy seasons followed by slow seasons, it is what keeps us sane.

It can be quite scary when the slow time comes, especially if it is due to something you can’t control or was unpredicted.

I have found that slower times in my business actually turn out to be a blessing. It gives me room for personal and business growth, maintenance, optimization and getting creative.

Here are four methods that may support you in a slow season so you can work towards boosting those sales and getting back into the game!

1) CREATE A HUB FOR YOUR RESOURCES

Do you have one location you can send your customers and potential customers to where they can find all you have to offer?

Or, are people chasing your instagram posts, once in a blue moon emails, facebook groups, PDF’s and text messages?

Build something you can be proud to send people to. Build a small website on Squarespace, or a membership site on Kajabi. How brilliant would it be to have all your resources, schedules, ways to be contacted all in one place!

Check out oilculturelabels.com to see how we have our products, services, blog, resources, FAQ’s and methods of contact all under one roof via our website.

2) HOST A SERIES OF CLASSES

Be proactive in your business and pre-schedule classes for the next 30 days. Post your class schedule and talk about it often for the next 30 days.

Be mindful that your customers have busy lives, so be flexible with a variety of times and follow up with emailing out the recordings and asking if they have questions.

If you are not comfortable with a live class, record one on your phone and email it out! (You can easily upload your video to your you tube channel or vimeo and get a URL link to put in your email).

3) START YOUR EMAIL SEQUENCE

Your customers are waiting to learn how to use their oils! Remember the business circle:

Bring in New Customers

Educate Them

They Will Purchase More

Your Business Will Grow

If you are stuck on what to email…download our free guide “50 Topics to Email”.

We can load 4 months of emails into your Flodesk email provider or you can purchase our templates to load into your email provider.

4) UPGRADE YOUR MINDSET

Sometimes you just need a good ol’ mindset shift! I loooove podcasts and audiobooks for this. Slap on some headphones, do the dishes, take the dog for a walk and drive the car all while nourishing your mind.

Check out our blog here for a good place to start.

THE BIG PICTURE

I like to think that the experience I provide my customers is a journey we are on together. If I learned anything from my career at Ralph Lauren - this is the true way to build a brand.

We are building a business together and enjoying the beauty of essential oils. It is not more complicated than that.

I want my teachings, experience, ideas and resources to be shared with my customers. In order for them to have trust in me, I need to provide consistent, on brand and relevant information. This my friend..is where the magic happens.

How you show up matters. The small actions and forward steps you take TODAY can impact your business for years to come.

Be brave my friend! I believe in you.
